Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is a Canadian actor best known for her portrayal of the character of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian heritage. Cerra was fascinated by acting at the age of eight, and was a part of numerous commercials when she was a kid. The actress took a brief break from performing, only to return to the stage in 2001, at age at the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named Cerra among Vancouver's top 5 rising actors. Cerra has appeared as the character Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy series that ran between 2006 and 2012. A music video featuring Michael Buble's Michael Buble track Save the Last Dance for Me was released in 2006. Cerra was recognized for her role in numerous highly acclaimed and well-known TV series such as Battlestar Galactica or The L Word. Cerra was a part of several major film releases, including Man About Town starring Ben Affleck with Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity starring Wesley Snipes. Cerras' face and her body were used in games like Mass Effect to represent Ashley Williams. The other roles that she guest-starred in are on Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and Dead Like Me. Her other shows include Cold Squad and the horror series Special Unit 2, and The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.
Khondabi said that she married Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who has a degree in mechanical engineering in the energy utility sector. Khondabi stated that she as well as Joey were introduced during their time at Greenwood Christian School and were friends for many years before they began to date as senior at high school. Howard was a student who transferred out of Irmo and went to Dutch Fork High School and finished his studies there, kept in touch with Khondabi. They started dating. Khondabi was a 2007 Emerald High School graduate and the 2011 University of South Carolina graduate with a degree broadcast journalism. She also studied sports and entertainment management.
